Training programme for Haj pilgrims on April 7

Selection process of Khadim-ul-Hujjaj completed

Hyderabad: The process of Selection of the Khadimul Hujjaj (Haj Officers) is over today with the Interview of the candidates by the Telangana State Haj Committee.

Haj Committee chairman Mohammed Masiullah Khan presided over the panel consisting of Special Officer Prof. S. A. Shukoor, Member Haj Committee of India Tayyaba Afindi, Members Telangana State Haj Committee Arif Ahmed, Abu Talha Amjad and Mohammed Arifuddin.

As many as 238 persons, all government employees, had applied for deputation as Khadim-ul-Hujjaj and 201 candidates appeared for the Interview conducted to assess their mental and physical fitness and scrutinize their documents.

The candidates would be selected through Qurrah (Draw of Lots) at 3:00 PM on 21st January at Haj House, Nampally, Hyderabad. Khadimul Hujjaj are selected in the ratio of 200:1 to guide and help the Haj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia as and when required. (INN)
