Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao ordered officials to resume and immediately complete the first phase of the sheep distribution program that was stopped due to the Corona pandemic in the state.
The program was introduced in the state to distribute 75 per cent of the beneficiary subsidy to sheep among the GollaKuruma population and the first phase of the program was stopped in the last phase due to the Corona pandemic. DDs have already been submitted by around 30,000 beneficiaries.
The CM instructed Minister T Srinivas Yadav of Animal Husbandry and the officials concerned to immediately begin distributing the sheep under the program. The CM has also agreed to begin the second phase of the program in the next financial year.
The CM also announced that it would allocate funds to the program in the State Budget to be implemented in March. (INN)
