Hyderabad: Six people were killed in a gory accident as an over-speeding lorry rammed into the auto rickshaw in which they were riding on Friday on the outskirts of Marrimitta village of Gudur Mandal in the district. They were all killed on the spot.
The deceased individuals were known as members of the JatothKasna family. They include Jatoth Kalyani, his wife (48), JatothPrameela’s daughter (23), Jatoth Pradeep’s son (23), (25). Their relative, Jatoth Prasad (42), his daughter, JatothDivya (19), and the car driver, JatothRamuu (19), (33).
All the deceased were from the Gudur Mandal of Errakuntathanda. The family members went to Narsampet to buy the ‘marriage clothes’ according to the relatives of the deceased, as Prameela’s marriage was arranged a few days ago. An over-speeding lorry coming from Narsampet rammed into it when the auto rickshaw entered Marrimitta.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao expressed his shock at the incident and expressed condolences to the families of the bereaved members of the family.
ErrabelliDayakar Rao, Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, and Satyavathi Rathod, Minister for Tribal Welfare, also expressed condolences to the relatives of the deceased. Dayakar Rao said that they would take steps to extend all the help to the kin of the deceased families. (INN)
