Students donate blood in MANUU to celebrate Azad Day

Hyderabad: Blood is life. Giving blood is equal to saving someone’s life. Student volunteers donating life are doing great service to humanity.

These were the views expressed by Prof. Ayub Khan, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) while inaugurating Blood Donation Camp on Tuesday.

The blood donation camp was organized in Health Centre of the University as part of ongoing Azad Day Celebrations. Speaking on the occasion, NSS Coordinator Prof. Mohammad Fariyad appreciated the students for coming forward to donate blood.

He said that about 50 volunteers came to donate the blood. He informed that they collaborated with Lifecare Foundation for giving the donated blood. Another 60 students took part in Maulana Azad Photo Competition cum Exhibition organized on Monday at NSS Office in the University.

Prizes and certificates will be given at a later date,
informed Prof. Fariyad.
