TD’s Peddi Reddy defeats TRS’ Nayani worker union poll

Hyderabad: In a surprising development, TD leader Peddi Reddy defeated Home Minister and TRS leader Nayani Narsimha Reddy in the workers union polls of Mahindra Laser Blade company situated in Balanagar held on Sunday.

Peddi Reddy, who contested on TNTUC ticket, defeated Nayani who contested on the TRS affiliated workers organization with a majority of 5 votes.

Out of the 460 votes, Peddi Reddy polled 196, while Nayani polled 191 votes. This is the second consecutive victory of the Peddi Reddy over the TRS veteran in the workers union panel elections.

Speaking to media persons later, Peddi Reddy said that his victory shows the revival of the TD’s prospects in the Telangana politics. (INN)
