Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao welcomed Telangana State people on Monday for the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. He said Rakhi symbolizes the brothers and sisters bond of love and affection.
It also denotes the commitment to women’s protection, honour, and respect. He also affirmed the commitment of his Government to women’s protection and integrity in the state.
Former MP K Kavitha at Pragathi Bhavan had tied Rakhi to her brother and Minister KT Rama Rao on the festive occasion.
The leaders of the TRS women including Minister Satyavathi Rathod, MP Kavitha Maloth, MLA Sunitha Reddy, ZP chairman Gandra Jyothi and TRS leader Gundu Sudharani also tied Rakhi to Rama Rao, among others. (INN)
