Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has instructed officials from the finance department to arrange salaries for the state government employees on 25 of this month as Bathukamma and Dussehra festivals are at the month end and the observance of Mohaarum on October 1. The Chief Minister has also asked the officials to release the DA to be paid to the employees.
TNGOs President and Secretary Karam Ravinder Reddy, M Rajender, TNGOs founder President Srinivas Goud have met the Chief Minister at Pragati Bhavan and requested that this month salary should be paid to the employees on Sept 25 and release of DA (2.096) first instalment for this year.
The CM has positively responded to their request. He wanted the salaries to be paid on 25 th of this month and release of the DA at the earliest.
DA at present is 22.008%. It will be increased by 2.096% to become 24.104%. This is effective from 1st January 2017. Total financial implication per annum is Rs 580 Cr. (INN)
