Telangana Govt to re-open schools for classes 6th to 8th from Feb 24

Hyderabad: Starting on 24 February, the State Government has agreed to reopen schools for classes VI, VII and VIII.

The decision was taken based on the instructions from Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and the reopening of Classes VI, VII and VIII will commence between February 24 and March 1, P. Sabitha Indra Reddy, Minister of Education said.

Schools would, however, have to ensure full compliance with the Covid-19 guidelines and parental permission is mandatory for students to attend classes. (INN)
