Hyderabad: The results of the intermediate-advanced supplementary examinations will be declared this week by Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE).
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the government has cancelled the intermediate supplementary exams for second-year students, the intermediate board will declare the results by giving minimum qualification marks to the students who pass them in the compartiment group.
All second-year intermediate students who failed in IPE March 2020 will be passed with minimum qualification marks. With the decision of the government, as many as 1,47 lakh students will benefit and they can apply without delay for admissions into traditional degree and technical courses.
Out of the 3,74,492 total who appeared for the exams, around 69.61 per cent of second-year intermediate students passed in the IPE. Although 37,139 candidates attended examinations in vocational schools, 61.28 per cent of which passed.
Nonetheless, students who failed in the intermediate first year would take the supplementary exams in order to graduate. Only low qualifying marks they won’t be considered transfer. (INN)
