Telangana issues orders for grace pass marks to Inter students

Hyderabad: The Telangana Government on Tuesday issued orders extending the value of grace pass marks to a total of 27,589 candidates absent from the March 2020 Intermediate Public Examinations and exonerated by the Committee on Malpractice Scrutiny.

The State Government has only extended the grace pass marks to students as a one-time measure in view of the exceptional situation emerging due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Of the total number of candidates who would benefit from this order, 27,251 were absent from the intermediate public examinations.

The Secretary of the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has been directed to take effective further action on the matter. (INN)
