Hyderabad: Telangana Political Joint Action Committee chairman Prof Kodandaram on Monday said that there was nothing wrong if the TJAC worked with the Opposition parties for the welfare of the people and larger interests of the state.
Speaking to media persons at a programme at the TJAC office here to launch the website of the Committee, Prof Kodandaram said that the JAC would fight for the rights of different sections of the society.
He said that the JAC has emerged as the voice of voiceless in the state and asserted that they would fight for the rights of the masses.
The JAC chief warned the government not to intimidate the JAC and other organizations standing up for the people’s rights.
He said that the government’s actions of trying to stifle the voice of JAC was only troubling the masses and demanded the government not to indulge in such acts.
Professor said that the JAC would launch a Vidya Parirakshana yatra opposing introduction of private varsities in the state from January 7.
The JAC chief said that the JAC has planned a series of programmes questioning the government’s attitude towards the farmers and other important issues concerning the masses.
The JAC chief earlier launched the website www.telanganajac.org. He said that the website would have information about the JAC’s programmes among other major subjects on the state. (INN)
