Speaking to media persons here on Wednesday, Prabhakar said that the Congress party did nothing for the welfare of poor during its rule. However, after losing power in 2014 elections, TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy is visiting different areas in Telangana targeting the State Government.
He said that instead of raising public issues in Assembly, Uttam had spent more time outside the House.
The TRS leader alleged that Uttam Kumar Reddy was trying to incite people against the TRS Government.
He said that the Congress chief was ignoring the fact that Telangana has been progressing at a great pace under the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.
He said people were extremely happy with the welfare schemes being implemented by KCR Government.
Prabhakar advised TPCC chief to give positive suggestions instead of doing mere criticism. Referring to Uttam Kumar Reddy’s vow not to shave his beard until Congress returns to power in Telangana State,
he said that the TPCC would never be able to shave his beard and he would take ‘sanyas’ with his long beard. (INN)
