Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Monday claimed that Telangana Rashtra Samithi never promised one job for every household in Telangana State.
Speaking to media persons in Bhongir, Talsani alleged that opposition parties were misleading the common people by stating that TRS had promised one job for every household. He asked the opposition parties to furnish proof of any such statement given by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao or any other leader.
He said that the Chief Minister had promised to fill 1.14 lakh jobs and so far, about 38,000 vacancies have been filled. He said remaining vacancies would be filled. He said 540 posts in Animal Husbandry Department would also be filled soon.
The minister strongly condemned Telangana Congress president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and accused him of defaming the TRS Government by levelling baseless allegations.
Talsani said in order to strengthen rural economy, State Government launched a unique scheme of distributing sheep. He said nearly 31 lakh sheep were distributed during the last four months. (INN)
