TRS will not tie-up with BJP in next elections: Jagadish Reddy

Hyderabad: Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy on Friday made it clear that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) will not have any alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in next elections.

Speaking to media person here, Jagadish Reddy said that the TRS Government was maintaining good relations with BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre to provide better governance and ensure development of Telangana State.

He said good relationship with the Centre should not be viewed as political alliances between the two parties. He said TRS was capable of winning the elections alone.

Jagadish Reddy said that the party would give tickets only to winning candidates. He also claimed that TRS would 110 out of 119 Assembly seats in next election.

He said that the TRS would win all 12 Assembly seats in his native Nalgonda district. Expressing confidence of his re-election as MLA in 2019, he said he was capable of winning election from any seat in Andhra Pradesh.

However, he said Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao would take the final decision on candidates and tickets.
