Hyderabad: The 5th Batch of FROs comprising of 68 trainees started their training in our Academy on 14th February 2017, and are now moving out of their Academy, after completion of 18 months course, as responsible officers.
The batch comprises of 40 trainees from West Bengal, 14 from Maharshtra, 11 from Chattisgarh and 3 from Mizoram state.
Out of these, 10 are lady officers and 58 are male officers. Out of 68 trainees, 5 trainees has resigned the job on their selection to Asst Conservator of Forests and State civil service in their respective states. So, I present before you 63 officer trainees for the convocation.
The course content, as directed by the “Director Forest Education”, Dehradun had 19 theory and practical subjects including field exercises. Study tours spread over 145 days during their 18 months training period.
