TSBIE takes action against another 47 colleges

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) on Monday took action against 47 corporate colleges who were running classes for first and second year intermediate despite declaration of holidays.

The raids were conducted in colleges situated in Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Medchal. While action was taken against 18 colleges in Hyderabad, 15 colleges were sealed in Mechal and 14 in Ranga Reddy district.

Board Secretary Dr. A. Ashok said that although the TSBIE was yet to issue admission notification for first year intermediate, some colleges were misleading the parents in the name of admissions. He advised parents not to admit their children in haste. (INN)
