The Technology Incubation & Development of Entrepreneurship (TIDE) at University of Hyderabad (UoH) signed incubation agreements with three start-ups here today.

As part of the incubation support, the TIDE-UoH is providing seed funding. Also, they are entitled to use infrastructure facilities, business incubation support and technical mentoring by the University faculty.

UoH vice chancellor Prof Appa Rao Podile chaired the function in which presentations were made by Coordinator of TIDE and Coordinator of Technology Business Incubator (TBI).

The TIDE and TBI are recognized incubators in the Start-up India initiative of the Government of India. Prof. Appa Rao emphasized commitment of the University to building an eco-system to foster innovation and entrepreneurship.

Main Activities of the Start-ups:

Neoscript Technologies Pvt Ltd is a platform aimed at improving the consistency and efficiency in learning quality of codes by providing automated evaluation and timely feedback.

Sapphire Technologies LLP is a real social media platform that redefines the present social networking built on the principle of radio, radar and broadcasting.

Aapka Painter Solutions Pvt Ltd has set itself the mission to streamline the entire painting process and standardize experience of getting spaces painted through technology integration and with focus on service delivery.

TIDE-UoH is a University of Hyderabad initiative supported by the Technology Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurship Programme of the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) of the Government of India.

Its aim is to enable young entrepreneurs to initiate technology startup companies for commercial exploitation of technologies developed by them.

The initiative encourages its own students, alumni, faculty and non-teaching members into entrepreneurship but it is open to such applications from other start-ups as well.

The University envisions expansion of such incubation activities into other technology domains as well as into social and creative entrepreneurship.
