Hyderabad: The conjoined twins, Vani and Veena, were shifted from Niloufer Hospital to State Home on Sunday.
The Niloufer Hospital took care of the conjoined twins for the last 13 years. Since both the girls have turned adults, they were shifted to the State Home at the hospital’s request.
However, a team from Niloufer Hospital has been sent on deputation to State Home to take care of the girls.
It may be mentioned that the State Government has recently consulted All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for a surgery to separate the twins who have joint heads. (INN)
