Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Election Campaign Committee Convenor and Khairatabad Mahakutami contestant Dr. Sravan Dasoju, as part of his election campaign, participated in door-to-door campaign at Singadikunta, Udaya Nagar, Gowri Shankar Colony of Banjara Hills Division.
Sravan interacted with the families of various residents and discussed about their problems. Meeting various Muslim minority families, he has criticized the KCR government by saying, how Muslim communities are being cheated on 12% reservations as promised in TRS election manifesto.
Instead of fighting for Muslim reservations in the parliament, KCR have joined hands with Narendra Modi at centre. He also reminded that it is the effort of erstwhile Congress government that Muslim communities are getting benefited with 4% reservations.
Dr. Sravan also alleged that KCR is a covert of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by helping the Modi government in the last four-and-half years by supporting all his anti-people policies. KCR and Modi have match fixing to support each other in the forthcoming parliament elections, he said.
Dr. Sravan assured that he will put a special concentration on the development of Basthis and Slums. Part of his election campaign he participated in various road shows at Singudikunta, Udaya Nagar and identified the most concerning problems of public.
After getting elected, his first priority would be clearing the open drainage system. He also promised that he will ensure the strict implementation of GO 58,59 benefiting the poor to get regularization of their lands.
He criticized the previous legislators Danam Nagender and Chintala Ramchandra Reddy for not resolving the most essential civic issues like drinking water facility and proper drainage system. He ensured that all the identified issues will be addressed with a strategic action plan within no time.
The ‘Kutami’ leaders Harinath Goud (CPI), Rohin Reddy (Congress), BN Reddy (TDP) and TPCC NRI Convenor Gampa Venugopal, Raghu Reddy and others participated in the campaign. (INN)
