Hyderabad: Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkatreddy has reiterated that he had no plans to quit the Congress party.
Speaking to media persons in Yadadri Bhongir on Monday, Komatireddy strongly denied reports of him joining the Bharatiya Janata Party. He said irrespective of whether or not Congress High Command makes him Pradesh Congress Committee chief, he would stay with the Congress party.
Komatireddy said that the Congress party would return to power in 2019 elections. He said Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has failed to fulfill the electoral promises and not a single section of the society was satisfied with the performance of TRS Government.
He said he would soon launch a programme to expose the failures of TRS Government. (INN)
