Hyderabad: Saini Venkatesham, lawyer, freedom fighter and Social worker met Osmania University Vice Chancellor Prof. S. Ramchandram on Tuesday to institute a Gold Medal on his name, on the occasion of his 88th birthday.
This Gold Medal will be conferred to the topper of the Corporate Law Subject of LLB Course, Osmania University. He handed over a cheque of Rs 5 Lakhs to the Vice Chancellor in presence of OU PG Law College Principal Prof. Venkateshwarlu and members of Saini Venkatesham Charitable Trust.
Prof. S. Ramachandram said this amount will be deposited in bank and with its interest every year Gold medal will be awarded to the topper of Corporate Law Subject of LLB Department, Osmania University.
He also said they award it in the Centenary convocation to be held in October 2017. (INN)
