Hyderabad: Finance Minister Eatala Rajender on Wednesday unveiled the portrait of late PVRK Prasad in one of the Conference Halls of Dr. MCR HRD Institute of Telangana, which has been named after him. He was the Director General of the Institute from 1998 to 2004.
He held several important responsibilities including Media Advisor to former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), Chairman of Vizag Port Trust, etc. during his illustrious career.
B P Acharya, Spl. Chief Secretary to Government for Planning & DG, Dr. MCR HRD Institute and Anitha Balakrishna, Joint Director General of the Institute graced the occasion. Senior officers, faculty, and staff also participated in the event in large numbers.
Everyone present on the occasion recalled his rich contributions to the multifarious development of the Institute during his tenure as its Director General. (INN)
