Revanth Reddy denies leaving TDP

Hyderabad: Telangana TDP Working President A. Revanth Reddy has strongly denied reports that have been appearing in the media for a while on him joining the Congress party.

Addressing a press conference along with Telangana TDP President L. Ramana and senior leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu on Sunday, Revanth Reddy said he would stay with the TDP and would not join Congress or other party. He blamed a section of media for spreading baseless rumours about his exit from the TDP.

He said the reports have disturbed his party workers and he advised them not to hurry in arriving at conclusions.

Revanth Reddy said he would meet AP Chief Minister and TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu after his return from foreign tour. He said he would apprise Naidu about the latest developments. He also announced that he would contest from Kodangal constituency in next elections.

He also informed that the Telangana TDP Legislature Party meeting will be held on October 26 to discuss strategy for forthcoming Assembly session. (INN)
