Harish Rao asks farmers to benefit from eNAM

Hyderabad: Irrigation and Marketing Minister T. Harish Rao on Sunday asked farmers to make extensive use of Electronic National Agriculture Market (eNAM) services.

Speaking after inaugurating the training classes at Bowenpally Market here, Harish Rao said farmers could keep themselves updated about Minimum Support Prices (MSP) and other details about their produce. He said eNAM services were being implemented in 46 markets of Telangana.

He said several new reforms have been introduced under the programme. He said Nizamabad Market was on top in the implementation of eNAM.

The compulsory six-day training classes are being conducted for the staff of Bowenpally Market.

The programme was also attended by MLA Muthi Reddy, Market Committee chairman A. Venkateshwar Reddy and other senior officials. (INN)
