Hyderabad: Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao has ridiculed the claims of TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy wherein he predicted victory of Congress party on more than 70 seats in next elections.
Speaking to media persons after inaugurating agricultural godowns in Pedda Mandi Vellore and Chityal mandals of Wanaparthy district on Monday, Harish Rao said that the Congress party was just day-dreaming about his party’s victory. He said Uttam Kumar Reddy should review the actual position of his party before making such claims.
Harish Rao said if the Congress leaders were really sincere towards farmers, then they should clear all the obstacles which they created in the construction of irrigation projects.
He said at one side Congress leaders were obstructing several projects and on the other side, they are trying to defame the TRS Government for lack of development. (INN)
