Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University observed Anti-Terrorism Day today by administering Anti Terrorism Pledge to its faculty members, staff and students.
The pledge ceremony was organized by the NSS Cell of MANUU at Seminar Hall, Department of Mass Communication and Journalism.
According to Dr. Mohd. Fariyad, Programme Coordinator, NSS Cell, anti terrorism day is being observed as per the guidelines issued by UGC and MHRD.
The participants took the pledge for opposing terrorism and violence and to uphold and promote peace, social harmony and understanding among human beings.
Dr. Mohd. Fariyad spoke about the significance of the event and the importance of peace for prosperity of the Country and Society. (INN)
