Hyderabad: Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO), Telangana zone organised an Iftar get-together at Osmania University on Friday.
Student leaders from various student organizations have joined together and bonded with each other in a rare scene of diversity. Apart from sharing the fruits together there were deliberations among the student leaders about the students’ struggle against “hate” and “exclusion politics”.
Ellanna and Durgam Bhaskar (NSUI), Bharat (TVV), Nageshwar (PDSU), Naresh (DMSA) Venkat (ASA) and representatives from TVS, DBSA, BSF, BAMCEF, JANACENA and PhD scholars and students of OU were present.
Fareed Rashid asserted the many traits one could attain during Ramazan besides the spiritual enlightenment; it gives the social consciousness towards miseries of the society as people generously donate in the name of Zakat and Charity.
The students leaders emphasized on standing up for all and not just be concerned about one’s own community all the time. Lauding SIO’s efforts to leaders recommended these type of Get-togethers which will clear misconceptions and help in forming harmonious society.
