Hyderabad: Centre for Promotion of Knowledge in Urdu(CPKU) of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) in association with School of Arts and Social Sciences (SA&SS), is organizing the second National Urdu Social Science Congress on November 15 and 16.
The main theme of the congress is “Emerging Trends in Social Sciences”.The Congress will discuss the knowledge base in Social Sciences in Urdu and focus on the emerging trends.
According to Prof. Shahida, Convenor, Congress and Dean, the inaugural session will be held on 15th November, 9.30 am at Saiyid Hamid Library Auditorium, MANUU.
Prof. S. A. R Bilgrami, Retd. Professor of Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi will be the Chief Guest of the congress. Prof. Mehtab Manzar, Dept. of Political Science, JMI, Delhi and Prof. Nishat Qaiser, Dept. of Sociology, JMI, Delhi are the Guests of Honour.
Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, Vice-Chancellor will preside over and Prof. Shakeel Ahmad, Pro Vice-Chancellor will deliver welcome address.
