Palamuru Rangareddy project gets environmental clearance

Hyderabad: Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Government of India has given permissions for the forest clearance of 2nd Phase of Palamuru Rangareddy Irrigation Project.

Central Forest Deputy Inspector General Sravan Kumar Varma has communicated through a letter to the Special Chief Secretary of Telangana.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who is in Yagam, expressed his happiness over the permission granted for the forest clearance for Palamuru Rangareddy lift irrigation project. He conveyed his thanks to the Union Minister for Environment and Forests Harsh Vardhan.

He also appreciated the efforts of the officials of the Irrigation and Forest Departments. (INN)
