Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University, NSS Cell observed National Voters Day today by administering Pledge to its Volunteers.
According to Dr. Mohd. Fariyad, Programme Coordinator, NSS Cell, the pledge was taken by the volunteers to spread awareness about the necessity of voting among society and to encourage young generation towards the voting rights..
Dr. Mohd. Fariyad, spoke about the importance of voting and its needs to increase the effective participation in the electoral process among voters. The prosperity of the Country and Society depends on voting for better government, he said.
Dr. Ameena Tahseen, Incharge, Centre for Women Education also spoke on the occasion.
