TRS Govt carried out visible developmental activities: Kavitha

Hyderabad: TRS candidate for the Nizamabad Parliament constituency Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Sunday claimed that the TRS Government has carried out visible developmental activities in the last five years after the formation of separate Telangana.

Addressing an election meeting in Sirkonda of Nizamabad constituency, Kavitha said along with the MLA Baji Reddy garu she has taken out various developmental works in the area. She said there is an immense enhancement in the number of beneficiaries of pension after the formation of Telangana.

She said in Sirkonda Mandal 8,000 beneficiaries are getting the pension and it is the matter of satisfaction to her that about 4,000 beneficiaries are woman beedi workers. Earlier under this scheme only one member of the house was eligible resulting disputes were arisen between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.

When our Chief Minister was acquainted, it was decided to extend the benefits to each beedi worker member of the house. Likewise, on insistence of public the age limit for the old age pension was decreased from 65 years to 55 years, which is applicable from the month of May, she said.

Kavitha said ponds in Sirkonda Mandal were strengthening with an outlay of 20 crores to irrigate 5,000 acre field. Government has allocated 2,600 crores for Kaleshwaram Project and already works has been started. She said in previous, government works were less and publicity was more, but in TRS regime, we work more and focus less on publicity.

She said action will be taken to provide water in 3 hilly areas near Chamanpally. She said that Chief Minister Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao has promised to restore the rights of tribes and also promise to provide patta passbooks to those farmers who unfortunately could not get it due to errors.

She assured that financial aid of Rs. 5 lakh will be provided for construction of the house to those who possessed the land. Our government is providing double bedroom houses for homeless families. She said in the next five years no one will be homeless in Sirkonda.

She criticized that our country could not develop even after 70 years due to corrupt practices. Dubai, which is just larger than the Hyderabad developed tremendously.

She said our Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has all set to play a key role in the national politics and on par with Telangana uninterrupted electricity will be provided in all parts of the India and beedi workers will get a pension.

Kavitha said that with the wipe out of Congress and BJP the dream of Telangana has fulfilled. The public has reposed confidence on pink party based on its good governance.

She criticized heavily on Congress and alleged that it was involved in corruption from coal scandal to spectrum scam, while BJP failed to fulfill a single poll promise. BJP, starts Mandir-Masjid politics on the edge of the elections. BJP is not ready to debate on the issues of development and misleading the people with communal agenda. (INN)
