TSRTC aims at 5k crore income this year

Hyderabad: TSRTC chairman S Satyanarayana said that efforts would be made to make the state owned transport corporation a profit making entity besides providing best services.

He said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had review the working of the RTC and had made a few suggestions to bail out the corporation from the losses.

Satyanarayana said that the corporation aimed at achieving the income target of Rs 5,000 crore this fiscal. He said that the corporation would procure 1575 new buses, 200 mini buses to strengthen its fleet.

He appealed the employees to work in coordination to strengthen the corporation. He also said that special services would be pressed into service during the ensuing Krishna Pushkaralu. (INN)
