Hyderabad: The Telangana Government on Wednesday accorded permission to fill 1,794 posts in Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society.
These posts will be filled through the Telangana State Public Service Commission. They are in addition to 758 vacancies already permitted by the government.
Of 1794, as many as 1164 posts are for Residential Schools. They include Principal – 31; Trained Graduate Teacher – 721; Physical Education Teacher – 103; Art Teacher – 47; Music Teacher – 56; Librarian – 103 and Staff Nurse – 103.
Another 630 posts will be filled in Residential Degree Colleges for Women. They include Degree College Principal – 30; Degree Colleges Lecturer – 510; Librarian – 30; Physical Director – 30 and Health Supervisor – 30, according to GO.MS. No. 94 issued on Wednesday.
The TSPSC has been asked to take appropriate steps for filling the above vacancies through direct recruitment by obtaining the details, such as local cadre wise / subject wise vacancy position, roster points and qualifications etc., from the concerned authorities and shall issue the notification and schedule for recruitment expeditiously.
