Hyderabad: Health and Finance Minister Harish Rao said that people in the state were receiving their Patta Passbooks at their doorstep without having to pay any bribe to the middlemen by virtue of the Dharani Portal. He said many people were just criticizing the portal and the entire Dharani program without knowing the facts.
Harish Rao said that any issues raised with regard to land ownership will be sorted out by conducting Revenue Meetings very soon. He said that irregularities in land issues have decreased because of Dharani. He said that this portal was catalyzing the smooth administration of lands and officials from different states have not only appreciated but also learned from Dharani.
He inaugurated the new Dongli Mandal Office in the Kamareddy district on Saturday. He said that the formation of Dongli Mandal was a long pending request of the people. He said that CM KCR had fulfilled this dream of the people. He said that the state government had made the strength of Mandals to 612 which was just 466 before the formation of Telangana.The Minister further said that the water problem in the state persisted during TDP and also in the Congress but only in the TRS government this was addressed amicably and resolved by virtue of Mission Bhagiratha.
