Kondagattu temple would be developed at a grand scale: CM KCR

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said that the Anjaneya Swamy Temple in Kondagattu would be developed as the largest Hanuman Temple in the country.

On Wednesday, the Chief Minister visited the Anjaneya Swamy Temple in Kondagattu and performed a special puja. Later, he conducted a review meeting with the officials for more than two hours on the development of the temple. Speaking after the review meeting, he said that the temple should be made into a wonderfully spiritual place to attract the whole world.

He said that the development of Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy temple was a massive project. He said that the temple should be developed so that the devotees could enjoy all the amenities and spirituality. The officials were advised to develop the Ghat roads in order to prevent accidents in the gorge. He said Hanuman Jayanti should be celebrated in a grand manner in Kondagattu.The Chief Minister announced that another Rs. 500 crores would be allocated for the development of the Kondagattu Temple. He said that the government would set up a spacious parking lot in the vicinity of the temple on 86 acres of land. (INN)
