KCR inaugurates Brahmin Sadan Bhavan

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao inaugurated the Brahmin Sadan Bhavan on Wednesday.

Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, MP Ranjith Reddy, MLC Surabhi Vanidevi, GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, Government Advisor KV Ramanachari and other scholars participated in the inaugural programme.The State Government has allotted 6.10 acres of land in Gopanpally village of Serilingampalli mandal of Rangareddy district for the construction of this building. In this complex, 12 structures were undertaken keeping in mind the wider interests of the Brahmin community. Municipal and Urban Development Minister KTR laid the foundation stone on June 5, 2017. This three-storied building houses the Kalyana Mandapam, the Information Centre, the House of Presiding Officers and Dharmacharyas. This building will serve as an information centre resource centre for the spread of devotional and spiritual ideologies. A library with literature like spiritual texts, Vedas, Upanishads and Puranas will be established in the complex. (INN)
