Hyderabad: Expediting the process of reorganization of the districts, the government on Wednesday released an amount of Rs 1 crore for each of the 26 districts barring Hyderabad. The planning department released circular in this regard.
At the District Collectors’ meet on Tuesday, Chief Minister had directed the officials to club related departments and ensure that the new districts are functional by Dasara festival.
The CM also directed the officials to ensure that besides the district collector and SP offices, revenue divisions and mandal officers are functional.
With the funds released on Wednesday, the State Government plans to provide infrastructure at the collectorate and the SP office at the new districts. (INN)
