KCR government indulging in massive corruption: Amit Shah

Warangal: BJP Chief Amit Shah on Saturday lashed out at the Telangana Government saying that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was shying away from celebrating Telangana Liberation Day only to gain political mileage.

Speaking at a public rally to mark the Liberation Day fete at Hanamkonda in Warangal district, BJP chief said that the TRS chief was not celebrating the Liberation Day only from the pressure of MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi.

Amit Shah questioned the TRS chief as to who elected him, the people of Telangana or Owaisis. He warned the TRS chief if he falls prey to the pressure from Owaisi, then the people of Telangana would teach TRS a befitting lesson in the next Assembly elections.

If you don’t respect the sentiment of people, then the ballots would go against you, you will lose power in 2019, Amit Shah said.

KCR should respect the sacrifices of thousands of people who fought against the Nizam rule and pay them a befitting tribute by celebrating Liberation Day, Amit Shah added.

Stating that the BJP government has granted funds to the tune of Rs. 90,000 crore to Telangana Government, Amit Shah said that the NDA government was committed to the welfare of the state.

He said that though the Centre was giving huge funds to the state, the same is not being spent where it were meant for.

He alleged that the KCR Government was indulging in massive corruption and was using the Central funds to attract leaders of other parties into TRS fold. (INN)
