Global IT consulting firm Mindtree has selected 30 students from GITAM University with Rs.3.2 lakhs per annum package through campus placements drive at Hyderabad Campus.
Mindtree’s T&P Department director Dr. N.Venu Kumar informed about the same in a press statement dated December 1, 2015. Senior technical and HR managers from Mindtree were happy with GITAM infrastructure and also students’ quality in terms of technical and communication skills.
More than 25 colleges from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh participated in the campus selection process.
Earlier, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, NTT Data, Model N, Virtusa, Mu Sigma, CommVault, Incessant Technologies, Cellidus Cloud, VM Ware, PortWare, Tech Aspect, Hexagon, CDK Global, Hitachi Solutions, Mytrah Energy and L&T visited the Hyderabad Campus of GITAM and selected its students. Most of them have got Rs.5.5 lakhs plus per annum packages.
In addition, over 40 companies have agreed to visit campus recruitment drives for this year, said a press release from GITAM University. “It may be mentioned that last year for 2014-15 academic session, GITAM had achieved 92 percent placements by 87 companies, with the highest annual pay package of Rs.20 lakhs.”
GITAM School of Technology Director Prof. N. Siva Prasad, Principal Prof. Ch. Sanjay, Resident Director DVVS Varma, HBS Dean & Director Prof. S.S.Prasada Rao were appreciated the selected students.
