Siddipet Rythu Bazar goes ‘cashless’

Siddipet: Minister for Irrigation and Marketing T. Harish Rao said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao played an instrumental role in the formation of Telangana and asserted KCR lead a successful movement to secure statehood for Telangana.

Harish Rao, who was on a visit to Siddipet to take part in development programmes, informed the media that the TRS government was giving priority to farm sector and has taken revolutionary steps to develop the sector.

He said that the government will provide irrigation to 1 crore acres of land. He paid tributes to the martyrs of Telangana movement at the martyrs’ memorial in the town.

Earlier, the minister inaugurated cashless transactions at Rythu Bazar in the town.

It may be noted that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had yesterday announced that the state government would make encourage cashless transactions in the Siddipet Assembly constituency. (INN)
