Drive Safe initiative by MaxCure Hospitals and TS Police

Hyderabad: MaxCure Hospitals in association with Telangana State Police has launched a ‘Drive Safe’ initiative. This initiative was aimed to increase road safety awareness and to prevent road accidents.

The Road Show was flagged off by Director General of Police Anurag Sharma.

This road show will speak about the ill effects of rash driving and create awareness among the public.

Signature campaign is rolled out along with the Canter, for People to Pledge on wearing a seat belt and drives safely to ensure that the accidents are curtailed.

Speaking on the occasion, Anurag Sharma said, “The campaign provides a positive reason to not drink if you’re driving. A drink doubles your chances of being in a fatal collision and missing out on the life.

Not only drink and drive but rash driving and speeding are also major factors in RTAs. I am happy to be a part of this activity started by MaxCure and Telangana State Police.

I hope that it will reach the masses and create the required awareness.”

“With the growing cities, we are seeing growth in the number of accidents. We have seen a huge increase in the number of RTA cases.

As a responsible Hospital, would like to create awareness among the masses regarding rash driving, speeding and drink and drive. We also have a signature campaign where public can sign and pledge on wearing a seating belt and against drink and drive.

We are happy to launch this initiative. The Road Show will go on for a few months,” said Hari Krishna, CEO, MaxCure Group of Hospitals.

Due to rash driving, speeding and drunken driving there is a huge increase in the number of road accident cases in the city. About 100 – 150 trauma cases per month are seen at MaxCure group of Hospitals.

So, to curtail these numbers and to increase awareness among the public, the MaxCure group has taken up this activity in association with Telangana State Police. (INN)
