Hyderabad: Former MLA and Congress leader T. Jayaprakash Reddy on Thursday termed the demonetisation policy of the Centre as a mindless act.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhawan here, Jayaprakash Reddy said that the Centre’s decision to ban high value currency notes has made the lives of poor and the middle class miserable.
He said that the day the PM announced demonetization was a black day as it left a vast majority of the population in the lurch.
Accusing the Centre of enforcing a harsh decision on the people, the Congress leader said that the government will pay a heavy price for its illogical decision.
The government will face the heat when people will lose patience and revolt against the government for pushing them into hardships for no fault of theirs, he said. (INN)
