RBI harassing people by frequently changing rules: Congress

Hyderabad: Former MP and senior Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao on Thursday said that the Reserve Bank of India was pushing the people in distress by changing its rules note ban frequently.

Speaking to media persons, VHR said that the Centre’s demonetization policy was creating more problems to the poor rather than meeting its objective of curbing black money as promised by the PM.

He slammed Narendra Modi saying that his government was giving huge loans to corporate but was harassing common people who were depositing their hard-earned money after note ban.

He said that the corporates and influential people were getting new currency without any trouble but the common people had to wait for hours to get few thousand.

VHR demanded the state government to bring lost glory to floral festival Bathukamma by popularizing it in a grand manner. (INN)
