Hyderabad: TDP MLA and BC Welfare Organisation chief R. Krishnaiah on Sunday said that the BC Welfare organization would conduct a massive public meeting in Warangal on January 13 to press for their demand to increase quota for BCs to 50 per cent in politics, education and jobs.
The BC leader in a statement said that a meeting of teachers from backward classes would be held on January 8 at Telugu University auditorium.
Likewise a meeting for state government employees would be held at Andhra University on January 11.
The MLA said that the backward classes were subjected to injustice over six decades and urged the state government to increase the quota for BCs as per their population ratio. (INN)
