Rs 5 a meal centres in the GHMC go up

Hyderabad: The GHMC on Wednesday added three more Rs 5 a Meal scheme centers in the city. The state government had recently announced to increase the number of Rs 5 a meal centre to overcome the note ban affect.

Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin launched the centre at Fever hospital in Nallakunta. On the occasion the deputy mayor said the GHMC was spending Rs 30 crore on the meals scheme, which was benefitting thousands of poor in the state capital.

Khairtabad MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy inaugurated a center at Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital & Research Centre at Banjara Hills, Charminar MLA Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri launched one centre at Government Maternity Hospital at Petlaburj. (INN)
