TS Govt regularises 136 contract employees in Forest Dept

Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has issued orders regularising the services of 136 contract employees in the Forest Department.

Addressing the beneficiaries at the State Secretariat on Saturday, Forest Minister Jogu Ramanna said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has resolved the issues which were pending for the last three decades.

He said that the Chief Minister has also decided to fill 1305 vacant posts of Forest Beat Officers and the same has been approved by the State Cabinet.

He said that the Telangana State Public Services Commission would initiate the process to fill these identified vacant posts.

The function was also addressed by Principal Secretary (Forests) B.R. Mena, Chief Conservator of Forest Prashant Kumar, Forest Junior Officers Association Nagender Babu and other officials. (INN)
