Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy held detailed review meeting of Sanitation and Transportation departments of GHMC. Zonal Commissioners, Additional Commissioner (H&S), AMOHs and Transport wing officials attended the meeting held today at GHMC Head Office.
The GHMC Commissioner directed the Medical Officers to ensure 100% segregation of garbage waste and personally monitor with all the Sanitary Field Assistants and other sanitary workers and necessary awareness campaigns be taken at the colony level for cent percent segregation.
Instructions were also given to the Medical Officers to create awareness about the dangers of consuming liquor while performing their duties.
Dr. Janardhan Reddy interacted with all the Zonal Commissioners and Medical Officers about the Aadhar Biometric, source segregation, Ramzan festival arrangements, Telangana Formation Day celebrations,
World Environment Day, Fish medicine arrangements, condemnation of vehicles, Transit Station Reforms, Public Toilets and various other sanitation and Transportation issues. (INN)
