Conditions in public hospitals are improving: Governor

Hyderabad: Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan said that the conditions in government hospitals have improved compared to the past.

The Governor was speaking after inaugurating the 65-bedded ICU, Radiology machine and Blood Test units at Gandhi Hospital on Thursday. Health Minister Dr. K. Lakshma Reddy, GHMC Mayor B. Rammohan and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said he had visited the Gandhi Hospital about one year ago and had directed the Health Minister to improve facilities for the patients.

He said that the State Government acted swiftly on his directions and took measures for upgradation of the hospital. He hoped that the present government would improve the facilities further in all government hospitals in the next two years.

The Governor advised the patients to maintain cleanliness in the hospital premises. (INN)
