Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Secretary S.P. Singh, along with top officials of various departments, on Friday reviewed arrangements for Independence Day celebrations at Golconda Fort.
Speaking to officials, the Chief Secretary asked them to make elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of Independence Day celebrations on next Tuesday. He asked the officials to ensure proper coordination among various departments at the venue.
The Chief Secretary also inspected arrangements at Rani Mahal in the Golconda Fort where Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao would host the national flag. He also reviewed the rehearsal of parade at the fort’s main gate.
IG Intelligence M.K. Singh, CID IG Shikha Goel, Protocol DIG Anjani Kumar, Hyderabad Police Commissioner Mahender Reddy, Principal Secretary GAD Aadhar Sinha, GHMC Commissioner Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy, I&PR Commissioner Naveen Mittal and other senior officials were also present. (INN)
