CS reviews arrangements for VP’s civil reception event

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Secretary S. P. Singh has directed the officials to make elaborate arrangements for the Civic Reception of Vice-President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu on August 21.

The Chief Secretary today reviewed the arrangements for Venkaiah Naidu’s first visit to Hyderabad after his election as the Vice-President of India.

He gave necessary instructions to officials on various arrangements to be made for the event to be held at Raj Bhavan. He asked them to take up cleaning and repair of roads from Begumpet Airport to Raj Bhavan and their surroundings.

The review meeting was attended by senior officials including Principal Secretaries Aadhar Sinha and Sunil Sharma, Fire Services DIG Rajiv Ratan, Intelligence IG M.K. Singh, Protocol Director Arvind Singh and Hyderabad Incharge Collector Prashanti. (INN)
